Today Shipley College occupies several buildings in Saltaire

Today Shipley College occupies several buildings in Saltaire. The College's origins lie in the Technical and Art School based in the Exhibition Building in Saltaire. Briefly named the School of Art and Science, the new school was conceived by Titus Salt Junior and opened in 1887.
The 100th anniversary of foundation of the College, and its predecessors, was celebrated in 1987.
